Capercaillie in Estonian autumn

We had our last tour this year in September and now it’s time to make plans for the next years. We will remember 2018 not only as a very warm year, but also as the year of the capercaillie. Why? First, because the capercaillie is the 2018 Bird of the Year in Estonia, and second, we’ve had some great encounters on many of our trips. Here is a short video of an observation during the “Bears, Wolves, Baltic Migratory Trails” trip, just after a successful night in the Bear Hats. On the same path a short time later we could also see black grouse. Hopefully next year will be as successful.
